HILO Bumper Extension Modification

The previous owner wanted to add space for carrying firewood and bicycles on the back of the trailer and welded on this bumper extension. There was originally some OSB board present to stack the items on, but it rotted away. The problem that I have with this modification is that nothing very heavy can be placed on the extension without being at risk for fishtailing due to insufficient tongue weight. I have made use of the extension to carry two spare tires, chairs, and some of the leveling wood that I carry with me. I found it inadvisable to put a generator on the back.
